Scholarships are Available to Help You...

The College of Agricultural Sciences (CAS) has one of the largest undergraduate scholarship programs at Penn State. For example, more than $1.5 million was awarded to over 650 College of Agricultural Sciences students in the academic year 2004-05. Students enrolled in the CAS are sent scholarship applications in early February. A combination of academic achievement and financial need is used by panels of faculty and administrators from the college and academia to determine awards for the following fall semester.

The scholarships listed below are specifically for students enrolled in majors in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology:

To qualify and be considered for most scholarships awarded by the College of Agricultural Sciences, students must formally apply for scholarships, grants-in-aid, and loans through by using the on-line scholarship application form or by contacting:
